Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join their team in Nassau Bay, Texas. As a key member of the diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to create high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for MRI exams, explaining the procedure and administering contrast when necessary.
- Select and operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images.
- Enter and monitor patient data, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Perform quality assurance on MRI equipment and matrix cameras.
- Identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management.
- Participate in emergency calls within the department.
- Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to Memorial Hermann's policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
- Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
- One year of experience in MRI technology.
