Responsibilities- Janitorial Services: Perform a wide range of janitorial duties, including cleaning common areas, restrooms, and apartment units, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of utility rooms and storage areas.
- Trash and Recycling Management: Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables, including moving dumpsters for city trash pickup and maintaining recycling areas.
- Maintenance Shop and Storage Areas: Keep maintenance shop and storage areas organized and clean, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained.
- Utility and Meter Rooms: Maintain utility and meter rooms, ensuring that they are free of dirt, debris, and litter.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean common area floors, steam-clean or shampoo carpets, and perform other cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Apartment Unit Turnovers: Perform initial clean-up and final detailed cleaning of apartment unit turnovers, including refrigerators, range/ovens, exhaust fans and filters, counters, and other areas.
- Miscellaneous Tasks: Perform miscellaneous janitorial maintenance-related tasks or other duties as directed by the Property Manager.
- Experience: Minimum three years of multi-family apartment janitorial experience.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of proper disposal of hazardous materials, electronic waste, recycling practices, and water conservation.
- Skills: Skilled in usage and care of common hand and power tools used in janitorial maintenance work.
- Physical Demands: Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 30 lbs.
