As a Fast-Paced Emergency Department RN, you will monitor and implement patient care plans while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. This position offers the opportunity to positively impact patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

You will work alongside a dedicated team of caregivers, receive endless support and appreciation, and build a rewarding career. Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital's Emergency Department (ED) is the only Level II Trauma Center on Cleveland's east side.

The ED provides emergency services, ranging from minor injuries to critical and resuscitative care. As an RN, you will ensure patients receive the attention they need quickly. Collaborating with your fellow nurses, medics, CTs, PCNAs and HUCs, you will help create an environment where patients feel welcome, comfortable and safe.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans
  • Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Two years of recent related nursing experience or less than two years of experience with post-orientation/90-day probationary period considered with approval from Chief Nursing Officer
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) upon or within one year of hire
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC - adult) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC - pediatric) upon or within two years of hire
