Position Summary:
The Director of HCP Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing marketing strategies for our Prostate Cancer product line. This position demands both strategic insight and operational leadership to optimize the value of our existing and pipeline products.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Marketing lead and will be responsible for developing comprehensive brand strategies, leading a talented marketing team, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the success of our initiatives. This role will focus on peer-to-peer engagement, spearheading key initiatives to identify market needs and competitive opportunities, and designing tailored promotional programs for healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic and annual business plans to exceed targeted objectives, promoting best-in-class marketing practices within HCP channels.
- Lead Peer-to-Peer (P2P) initiatives, managing relationships with key opinion leaders and overseeing the execution of P2P programs across various platforms.
- Conduct market analyses in collaboration with Market Research to inform strategic planning and performance objectives, anticipating market trends to maximize revenue and growth.
- Craft effective messaging to communicate the brand's core value proposition, utilizing both traditional and innovative marketing channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on brand strategy and tactical priorities, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and the competitive landscape.
- Establish and maintain measurement plans and key performance indicators to assess marketing effectiveness.
- Work closely with Field Sales to ensure the successful execution of brand strategies and contribute to training initiatives that support brand growth.
- Oversee the development of marketing assets and manage the associated promotional budget.
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Business or Marketing; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in commercial marketing within therapeutics or diagnostics.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to translate complex ideas into actionable plans.
- In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, including compliance regulations.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
