Overview:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilizes all machinery for hard surface maintenance and carpet upkeep effectively, adhering to the manufacturer's guidelines, ensuring each piece of equipment is cleaned daily and prepared for subsequent shifts.
  • Handles and mixes all necessary cleaning agents for hard surface maintenance and carpet upkeep safely and in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
  • Reports any equipment issues and updates on assigned projects to management regularly.
  • Records activities for each shift and submits documentation to the supervisor at the end of the shift.
  • Keeps the janitorial closet, cart, and work area organized and tidy.
  • Engages with staff and/or visitors in the vicinity of ongoing projects, informing them of the expected duration of their presence in the area and navigating around foot traffic.
  • Collaborates as a team member to complete all tasks assigned by management.
  • Completes additional assignments as directed by management, including essential functions of the Environmental Services Associate.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS,

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Previous experience in hard surface maintenance and/or carpet upkeep is advantageous.
