About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Therapist to join our team at AuSable Valley Community Mental Health Authority. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide high-quality outpatient services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to consumers in designated locations
  • Collaborate with community referral sources and interagency colleagues to ensure comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each consumer
  • Document all interactions and progress in electronic medical records
  • Participate in crisis intervention and emergency on-call responsibilities
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field
  • Licensed by the State of Michigan in their relative field (LMSW or LLMSW)
  • Preferred qualifications include CADC or CAADC certification and experience working with adults and children with SMI/SED/I/DD
