Job Title: Women's Health Care Specialist

The Albany Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Women's Health Care Specialist to join our OBGYN General Division in Schenectady, NY.

This role offers the opportunity to provide specialized care to patients in a supportive environment with a day shift schedule (United States of America).

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $110,072, based on industry standards and location.

About the Role:

The Women's Health Care Specialist will play a crucial role in managing patient care through advanced clinical expertise. In collaboration with attending physicians and healthcare teams, the specialist will assess and manage patients, order diagnostic tests, and implement comprehensive care plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations.
  • Compile clinical data, order, and interpret laboratory test results.
  • Diagnose medical conditions and administer therapeutic interventions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient medical records and ensure proper coding for billing.
  • Provide leadership and guidance during clinical shifts to optimize patient care processes.
  • Serve as a mentor to new staff and students in a clinical setting.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program - required.
  • Proficiency in computerized medical recordkeeping and billing systems.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must maintain HIPAA compliance.
  • Licenses Required: NP - Nurse Practitioner, ATLS - Advanced Trauma Life Support, BCLS - Basic Life Support (all required upon hire).
