POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated and self-driven individual for the role of Production Finishing Supervisor. This position is essential in coordinating daily production schedules to align with company objectives, including timely deliveries and inventory management.
The primary responsibility of the Production Finishing Supervisor is to create and communicate effective production schedules that fulfill all operational targets.
This role also involves supervising daily activities of team members and ensuring optimal workflow.Key Responsibilities:
Job Duties
- Utilize the Microsoft AX MRP system to formulate realistic production schedules that can be implemented across various departments.
- Oversee the execution of schedules, making necessary adjustments to achieve our goal of 100% on-time delivery.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to relay delivery expectations and adapt plans for urgent requests.
- Work in tandem with the foundry and purchasing teams to guarantee the availability of materials required for production.
Track and analyze daily delivery performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Review and adjust stock policies to maintain delivery standards.
- Identify and manage excess and obsolete inventory.
- Provide support to hourly employees through collaboration with supervisors.
- Conduct monthly safety inspections with a focus on continuous improvement.
Ensure all safety and environmental training is current, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
Qualifications:
Experience and Educational Background
- 1 to 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and inventory management is advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
