Position: Certified Medication Aide

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Medication Aides to join our supportive community.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am to 3 pm

As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care to our residents in a luxurious and comfortable environment. Under the guidance of a Licensed Nurse, the Medication Aide will be responsible for assisting memory care residents and ensuring the proper administration of medications and treatments.
  • Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Help maintain a safe and hygienic environment for residents.
  • Ensure residents receive adequate nutrition and hydration, assisting as necessary.
  • Promptly report any changes in resident conditions or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Adhere to standard precautions and infection control protocols.
  • Document resident progress notes in a timely manner.
Qualifications:

  • Current state registration as a Certified Medication Aide is required.
  • Basic understanding of communication techniques, infection control, safety, body mechanics, and age-related care.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Completion of annual training is mandatory.
  • One year of experience is preferred.
