We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA HealthONE Aurora. As a Vail Float Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
About the RoleThis position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora by expanding beyond traditional medical needs to the whole person. You will be responsible for delivering nursing care to patients requiring telemetry, medical surgical care, and other specialized services.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care as a primary nurse and/or care coordinator
- Lead the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
- Oversee and direct the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for assigned patients
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse
- BLS – Healthcare provider certification
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care or critical care, depending on the tier level
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other health care team members
