This position requires collaboration with project leads, architects, and subcontractors to collect essential data and formulate thorough proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate blueprints, specifications, and project needs to provide accurate cost assessments for residential development.
  • Work closely with project leads, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for cost assessments.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess existing conditions and define project needs.
  • Research and compile data on labor, materials, and equipment expenses.
  • Create detailed and itemized cost breakdowns and schedules for proposals.
  • Review and negotiate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Monitor and report on project expenses, providing updates to project leads as necessary.
  • Remain updated on market trends, construction costs, and industry advancements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a construction cost analyst.
  • Ability to perform quantitative take-offs.
  • Familiarity with PlanSwift or Bluebeam software.
  • Strong understanding of residential construction techniques, materials, and costs.
  • Exceptional mathematical and analytical capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
