Key Responsibilities:- Design and analyze electro-mechanical components and systems for various markets
- Coordinate with manufacturing engineers to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles are applied
- Conduct computer-aided analysis of new concepts using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
- Test materials and concepts, working closely with the test lab staff to design tests and document results
- Develop test designs to measure the function and quality of products and to test new ideas or modifications of existing products
- Accredited four-year degree in Engineering
- 2+ years of relevant experience in designing electrical or mechanical components and assemblies for the automotive market
- Experience designing die-casted, stamped, molded, and machined components for the automotive market is preferred
