We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Prosthetist or Orthotist to join our team at Ottobock in Madison Heights, MI. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality orthotics and prosthetics services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate and design prosthetic and/or orthotic devices to meet individual patient needs
- Provide complete and accurate direction and guidance to technicians responsible for fabrication of orthoses and/or prosthesis
- Evaluate prosthetic/orthotic devices on patients, adjust to ensure fit, function, and medical efficacy
- Train technicians, residents, fitters, and other clinicians as needed
- Develop a referral and client base to contribute to the practice's capabilities
- Certification by The American Board for Certification in Orthotics and/or Prosthetics (ABC) or Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC) or Board Eligible
- Two years of experience in Orthotics and/or Prosthetics preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with a wide range of people
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
