About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Medical-Surgical care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will deliver comprehensive and compassionate care to patients, working collaboratively with colleagues to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and coordination, consulting with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Administer medications, document accurately, and report any adverse reactions.
  • Educate patients on surgical procedures and other healthcare needs.
  • Record patients' medical information and vital signs accurately and promptly.
  • Conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, and adjust care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with patients and families, managing discomfort and ensuring therapeutic connections.
  • Create care plans that reflect patient values and effectively address issues.
  • Work closely with colleagues and community members to develop comprehensive care plans, delegate tasks appropriately, and follow up to ensure completion.
  • Employ various strategies for problem-solving with patients, families, and staff, recognizing limitations and prioritizing safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery.
Requirements
  • Valid TX RN license
  • At least 1-2 yrs of Med-Surg experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work 12-hour day or night shifts
