Key Responsibilities- Conduct outreach to engage students and their families as referred by educational staff and community partners.
- Establish consistent weekly interactions with each student on your caseload, both individually and in group settings.
- Maintain regular communication with families, educators, and other professionals involved in the student’s support network.
- Offer resource advocacy and direct services to assist families in developing healthy habits and reducing risks associated with addiction and delinquency.
- Support families in achieving treatment goals while ensuring confidentiality and appropriate communication.
- Participate in family-oriented events, after-school activities, and incentive programs.
- Provide educational resources and advocacy on child development and parenting to families.
- Adhere to confidentiality standards and participate in required staff meetings and clinical reviews.
- Education:
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred, or a minimum of three years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
- Experience:
- Experience in crisis intervention, working with trauma-affected populations, family support services, and mediation is preferred.
- Skills:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred, with a salary differential for language skills.
