Part Time: Clinical Research Dietitian

POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Clinical Research Dietitian, you will play a vital role in the execution of nutrition-related components within research projects. Your responsibilities will include providing nutritional guidance to both inpatient and outpatient participants involved in various studies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver personalized nutrition counseling to research study participants.
  • Administer and gather dietary intake forms and surveys, compiling comprehensive dietary data.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks as necessary to ensure data integrity.
  • Support Nutrition Core team members with food service tasks, including meal provision when required.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Active Dietitian/Nutritionist license from the State of Florida Department of Health.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Experience in weight management counseling.
  • Ability to develop nutritional education materials.
  • Proficiency in calculating caloric needs.
  • Expertise in menu and meal planning.
  • Experience in quality assurance processes.
