POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Clinical Research Dietitian, you will play a vital role in the execution of nutrition-related components within research projects. Your responsibilities will include providing nutritional guidance to both inpatient and outpatient participants involved in various studies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver personalized nutrition counseling to research study participants.
- Administer and gather dietary intake forms and surveys, compiling comprehensive dietary data.
- Conduct quality assurance checks as necessary to ensure data integrity.
- Support Nutrition Core team members with food service tasks, including meal provision when required.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Active Dietitian/Nutritionist license from the State of Florida Department of Health.
- Experience in weight management counseling.
- Ability to develop nutritional education materials.
- Proficiency in calculating caloric needs.
- Expertise in menu and meal planning.
- Experience in quality assurance processes.
