Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Beebe Healthcare. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic and computerized axial tomography procedures in accordance with established professional and departmental standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all CT Scan procedures according to established protocols, evaluating scans for technical quality and demonstrating anatomy under investigation.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media according to department policies and procedures, evaluating lab values as required prior to administering contrast media.
  • Identify and communicate problems by initiating machine service when needed and reporting to immediate supervisor.
  • Use Radiation safety and reduction techniques such as Image Gently and Image Wisely to minimize radiation exposures to patients, self, and others.
  • Consult with a radiologist as necessary and verify images are successfully transferred to PACS prior to tracking exams in the Radiology Information System.
  • Support department success through inventory, ordering, and stocking of supplies, rotating stock to prevent exceeding product expiration dates, and systematically removing any expired items from use.
Requirements
  • Registered in both Radiography and Computed Tomography.
  • Minimum of 1 year in radiography, with two or more years radiography experience preferred.
  • One or more years CAT Scan experience preferred.
  • ARRT - CT - Computed Tomography certification.
  • BLS - Basic Life Saving certification.
