Medical Director Opportunity in Tri-city Area

We are seeking an experienced medical director to join our team at Physician Empire, a Level 1 trauma teaching hospital in the tri-city area of Tennessee. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in emergency medicine.
About the RoleThis is a permanent opportunity with a competitive salary of $60,000 per annum. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to develop and implement policies that promote high-quality patient care and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities- To lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals in the emergency department
- To oversee the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
- To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
- To participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development
- Ambulatory or Hospital Medicine background, preferably Emergency Medicine expertise.
- Three years plus of previous management experience in Healthcare
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The shifts range from 9 to 12 hours, ensuring adequate coverage for patients. This includes 24 hours of mid-level coverage in a dedicated observation unit, providing comprehensive care to those who need it most.
