Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cook to join our culinary team at Acts Retirement-Life Communities. As a Lead Cook, you will be responsible for preparing meals and following established recipes, supporting the kitchen staff, and ensuring the restaurants run smoothly through each meal service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare meals and follow established recipes
  • Support the kitchen staff and ensure the restaurants run smoothly
  • Assist in the training and development of line cooks and prep staff
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of four years' progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment
  • ServeSafe Certification (or willing to obtain within the three-month introductory period)
  • Experienced in all cooking stations and methods
