Cooking Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at our Long Term Care facility in Larimore, ND.
This role is responsible for preparing and serving meals for patients/residents, staff, and visitors while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation.
Salary: $17-$25.50 per hour, depending on experience
Job Schedule: Part-time, 25 hours/week
Shift: Day shift, 12:30pm-6:30pm, 2-3 days/week
Bonus: Additional $1.25/hour for weekend shifts and evening hours after 6:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans and dietary requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Operate cooking equipment such as mixers, slicers, kettles, combination ovens, and dishwashers
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of six months of applicable experience
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
- Basic math skills
