Your expertise as an Oncology Nurse Navigator will provide patients with the physical and emotional support they need to navigate the complexities of cancer treatment. You will work closely with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure seamless coordination of care and access to all available resources. Responsibilities
  • Educate patients on types of cancer, treatment options, and clinical trial availability
  • Facilitate communication between all members of the healthcare team
  • Coordinate office visits across oncology care teams for continuity of cancer care delivery
  • Enhance each patient's experience by staying involved, visiting patients at appointments, assessing patients' needs, and relaying relevant information to providers

Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years clinical Med/Surg Nursing, including 3 years recent clinical experience in Oncology
  • Current CA RN license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • National Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN)

Special Skills
  • Extensive knowledge of oncology nursing principles
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with others
