Aerospace Systems Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Systems Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for analyzing National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) aeronautical data products, identifying and resolving aircraft avionics and aeronautical data issues related to Communications, Navigation, Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM), and maintaining relevant knowledge of Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) and Area Navigation (RNAV) flight operations.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aeronautical data standards such as NGA's Digital Aeronautical Flight Information File (DAFIF) and ARINC-424 Navigation System Database, as well as experience with mission planning and Service/Joint/Coalition air operations. Additionally, the ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret or higher security clearance is required.

- Maintain knowledge of IFR and RNAV flight operations
- Collaborate with product management and software development teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 4 years of experience
- High school diploma and 8 years of experience
- US DoD Secret or higher security clearance
Salary Estimate
$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
