The Compliance Testing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory standards within the organization. This role involves a variety of critical tasks aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Compliance Assessments: Perform thorough compliance testing for deposit and loan originations, as well as servicing processes, while proposing enhancements to existing business practices.
  • Support Regulatory Examinations: Provide necessary documentation and evidence for state and federal examinations, collaborating closely with the Compliance team to track and address remediation items.
  • Quality Assurance Execution: Implement real-time quality assurance processes related to mortgage origination, closing, funding, and deposit activities.
  • HMDA Review: Ensure timely reviews in accordance with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA).
  • Collaboration: Work alongside the mortgage originations team to resolve any business process or quality-related issues.
  • Testing of Controls: Conduct testing of lending-related FDICIA controls managed by the Operations Department and maintain an updated inventory of key controls for lending processes.
  • Certifications: Hold relevant compliance or audit-related certifications such as CRCM, CRVPM, CIA, CPA, etc.
