Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with experience in primary care/internal medicine. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and possess the ability to multitask effectively.

About the Role

The Medical Support Professional will assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direct supervision of clinical or administrative leadership. This role also involves performing general administrative duties in accordance with CLIA, HIPAA, NCQA, and government standards, as well as company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Verifies patient information by interviewing the patient, recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of the visit.
  • Takes blood pressure, weight, temperature, and reports patient history summaries.
  • Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests.
  • Secures patient information and maintains confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records.
  • Accepts and returns patient phone calls.
  • Call in prescriptions to patients' pharmacies.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
