The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing accurate and comprehensive job estimates
  • Obtaining bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials, identifying qualified subcontractors, and negotiating prices
  • Maintaining cost keys and price masters by updating information
  • Resolving cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing data
  • Preparing special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 3+ years of experience in estimating within the residential construction industry
  • A college degree is preferred
  • Knowledge of various estimating software
