Job SummaryThis position will support the provision of Physical Therapy services, improving access to our high-demand services and enhancing patient outcomes. As a Physical Therapist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with a range of physical therapy needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care as an evaluating therapist, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistant interventions in accordance with NYS practice guidelines.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patient goals and needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in physical therapy.
- A Baccalaureate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college and a valid New York State license to practice physical therapy.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy.
- Knowledge of outpatient physical therapy treatment modalities, manual therapy techniques, and joint mobilizations.
- Experience with chronic pain and therapeutic exercise applications.
