Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Vascular Ultrasound Technician to join our team at the Vein and Vascular Institute of Tampa Bay. As a key member of our vascular lab, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform vascular ultrasound exams, including venous and arterial duplex, PVR Doppler, abdominal vasculature, carotids, and venous reflux/mapping
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with vascular surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and safety during exams
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Current RVT or RVS license
  • Minimum 1 year experience in vascular ultrasound
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
