Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

A mechanical engineer at the State of Colorado's Auraria Higher Education Center will play a crucial role in maintaining the plumbing and HVAC systems across our campus. As part of the Facilities Management Services Division, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, repairing, and installing mechanical systems related to the plumbing trade.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect mechanical equipment for proper operation.
  • Perform corrective maintenance on a regular basis to ensure proper operation of mechanical systems.
  • Repair plumbing fixtures and associated systems/piping.

Requirements:
  • Three (3) years of professional Plumbing experience.
  • Completions of formalized Plumbing apprenticeship program or Plumbing trade-school education for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
