As a Med/Surg RN, you will provide direct and indirect patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in medical/surgical nursing.
- Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina or compact state.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
