Pawtucket Falls Health Care Nursing Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Nursing Supervisor to oversee patients and manage the nursing team at our facility. Our ideal candidate is responsible for supervising the delivery of care to residents, assessing their needs, developing care plans, administering nursing care, evaluating nursing care, and supervising CNA's and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that enhance workflow and improve the work environment.
  • Complete assessments of residents at admission and discharge.
  • Supervise nursing staff assigned and allocate duties to LPNs and nursing assistants, as directed.
  • Document services rendered to residents for billing purposes.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
  • Respond to need for staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff.
  • Track infection control, exposure control, and resident care trends to provide proactive improvement.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with current state license in Rhode Island.
  • One (1) to three (3) years related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a nursing supervisor.
  • Team management skills.
  • Great communication and people skills.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills.
