Position Overview
  • Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit

  • Weekly Hours: 36 hours
  • Shift: 12-hour night shifts
Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a step-down unit. The role includes:

  • Maintaining a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5
  • Utilizing equipment such as Welch Allyn Vital sign towers and sigma IV pumps
  • Documenting patient information using EPIC software
  • Floating to other medical-surgical areas as needed
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Current Michigan RN License
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in PCU or Stepdown nursing
  • Proficiency in starting IVs
  • Current AHA BLS certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification
  • Preferred: Experience in Chemotherapy Administration
