The Perioperative Registered Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team at Saline Memorial Hospital, providing exceptional patient-centered care in the perianesthesia area. This role requires a high level of nursing expertise to care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics with various pre/post anesthetic and surgical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and effective patient care, analyzing, thinking critically, and making appropriate clinical judgments.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver family-centered care, incorporating evidence-based practice in care delivery.
- Participate in leadership activities, contributing to the development of patient care delivery, the practice setting, and the nursing profession.
Requirements:
- 1 year of acute care nursing experience, with the past 2 years preferred.
- Current Arkansas RN licensure or Current State Compact Licensure.
- BLS Current.
- ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
