About the Role:

The Food Safety and Quality Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the food safety and quality standards are maintained in our manufacturing facility. This includes supervising a team of associates, including training, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect the manufacturing process to determine sanitation protocols.
- Design and implement sanitation policies and protocols.
- Coordinate and monitor cleaning schedules.
- Create and distribute work schedules for sanitation workers.
- Perform daily inspections of the manufacturing facility and report any irregularities.
- Implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities.
- Provide feedback to company managers and advise on manufacturing changes.
- Monitor the preparation and use of cleaning chemicals.
- Train sanitation workers and organize refresher workshops for existing staff.
- Coordinate the services of contractors and external cleaning crews.
- Oversees Team Leads and Sanitor One & Two employees
- Monitors performance and disciplinary recommendations
- Lead daily team meetings to distribute information

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
  • Previous experience in a Supervisory role.
  • Extensive knowledge of the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient and Advance Cleaning, Compactor and Special Assignments.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced managerial skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to design and implement training programs.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Diligent and punctual.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • General Computer skills.
  • Work at an acceptable speed to deliver proper sanitation as needed and required.
  • Food safety and safety awareness, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to physically lift, push pull and stand for long periods of time without reasonable accommodations.
  • Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices.

Estimated Salary:$62,000 - $75,000 per annum.
