As a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit, you will be part of a skilled team at the forefront of critical care. Our unit features 16 beds and provides care for a diverse range of critically ill patients. You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills in pharmacology, ventilator management, and critical care assessments.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Recognize significant changes in patient conditions and respond appropriately.
- Implement strategies to enhance patient safety and readiness to learn.
- Coordinate discharge plans using an interdisciplinary approach.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Demonstrate effective communication and leadership within the care team.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse license from the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Open to applications from newly licensed and experienced nurses.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to provide holistic patient care with a focus on patient and family needs.
- Proficient in electronic medical records and communication tools.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
