Job Summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Radiologic Imaging
    • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
    • Explain and prepare patients for radiologic imaging procedures, explaining the procedure and positioning patients for optimal results.
    • Perform routine and advanced radiologic imaging procedures on designated portions of the body, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate.
    • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring physicians, and other associates and peers.
    • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect patients, coworkers, and yourself.
    • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
    • Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
    • Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
    • Clean and disinfect equipment after each use.
    • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
    • Work with a Fluoroscopy C-Arm in surgical and outpatient procedures.
  • Radiologic Department Support
    • Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.
    • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.
    • Assist with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise as applicable.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
    Requirements
    • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
    • Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
    • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
    • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
    • Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform radiologic procedures independently.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bilingual.
