Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide age-specific care to patients based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and healthcare provider orders.
  • Perform vital sign checks, note deviations, and report to team leaders.
  • Ensure proper documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist primary care providers with patient examinations and set up examination rooms.
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently to other units or departments.
  • Screen patients prior to transport to ensure preoperative medications have been given and all jewelry and prosthetic devices have been removed.
  • Assist with admission and discharge of patients.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including answering phones and completing tasks assigned by RNs or LPNs.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the past two years.
  • Current certification for Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • Basic life support (BLS) training through an approved program.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Computer literacy and ability to use electronic medical records.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate constructively to patients from diverse backgrounds.
