We are seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at SESI Schools. As a BCBA, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing interventions to increase positive behaviors and progress towards students' goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide behavior training and consultation to school personnel to ensure effective implementation of behavior plans.
- Facilitate family engagement through general training, newsletters, and access to external supports to promote a collaborative approach to student success.
- Collaborate with external partners and providers to provide support to students, families, and staff, bridging the gap between home and school environments.
- Observe students in their educational environment, analyze existing data, and conduct assessments as needed to increase student success.
- Develop and implement behavior programs/strategies in the school environment, creating materials such as visual schedules, token boards, and social stories to support student success.
- Facilitate data collection with educational teams to monitor student progress and collaborate with the team to develop behavior intervention plans for students experiencing behavioral concerns.
- Review and analyze data, providing follow-up consultation and assisting with modifications as needed to ensure student success.
- Identify and assess behavioral difficulties that interfere with student attendance, adjustment, academics, and achievements in school.
- Participate in team meetings and IEP conferences to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and conduct presentations on ABA and behavior modification techniques to the educational team.
- Supervise RBTs, BCBA Trainees, and other staff members as needed to ensure high-quality services.
- Currently enrolled in or graduated from an ABA program and eligible to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst exam.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred.
- Proven ability and working knowledge with Microsoft software applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
