Job Summary

Jammies Environmental is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Class A CDL Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely towing and operating a variety of Class A CDL vehicles, including vacuum trucks, roll off trucks, and tankers, to customer locations while adhering to all DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold and follow all company, state, and federal safety rules and protocols, including the use of PPE.
  • Mobilize equipment to destination and utilize the proper equipment for safe project completion.
  • Perform required trip inspections on vehicles daily and maintain equipment for safe operation and clean condition.
  • May work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and may work in confined spaces.
  • Complete detailed reports, manifests, work orders, and time sheets legibly and submit each in a timely manner.
  • Maintain e-logs according to state and federal regulations.
  • Must pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and participate in JEI's DOT drug and alcohol program, to include random testing.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) with one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Work at a variety of customer sites and be available to work overtime.
  • Ability to work varied hours, including but not limited to evenings and weekends, as well as some out-of-town travel.
  • Excellent driving/safety record. A current driving abstract and proof of all certifications and licenses is required.
