Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Optical Technician to join our team. As an Optical Technician, you will play a critical role in providing outstanding patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting patients and answering their inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Foster strong relationships with our patients and colleagues, working collaboratively to ensure a positive and memorable experience.

  • Assist with scheduling appointments, entering patient information, and completing pre-tests, including visual acuity and color tests.

  • Help resolve patient complaints and ensure all expectations are met, working closely with the management team to address any issues.

  • Perform basic housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized lab area, adhering to brand standards.

  • Execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses, and ensure accurate delivery of eyeglasses, meeting our high standards for quality and timeliness.

  • Monitor delivery time commitments to patients, ensuring 100% compliance with our Now Service and Ready When Promised initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and empathize with patients.

  • Proactive problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results and meeting business needs.

  • Collaborative spirit, with a strong ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Passion for customer satisfaction and a positive demeanor, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
