Job Summary

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with consumers, families, and other professionals to provide holistic, person-directed care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualized plans to address consumers' physical and mental abilities, incorporating creative solutions and alternatives for daily activities.
  • Collaborate with consumers, families, and other professionals to determine goals and progress, ensuring a seamless and effective therapy experience.
  • Provide services in a variety of settings, including consumers' homes and communities, to promote independence and community integration.
  • Document sessions and progress, maintaining accurate and concise records to inform future therapy plans.
  • Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and other stakeholders to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited associate's degree program.
  • Current licensure in the state of Kansas.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
