Job Summary

ISYS Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Tester to support our customer's operations in a dynamic and challenging environment. As a Senior Software Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement unit-level test procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
  • Document test plans and procedures in Developer Test Descriptions to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Perform software element integration testing prior to release of software to ensure seamless integration.
  • Generate and perform capability test procedures to verify complete functional coverage of all new/modified code.
  • Develop procedures and scripts for automated testing to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing is performed in accordance with established processes and procedures.

Qualifications

  • US Citizenship
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Minimum ten (10) years since award of Bachelor's degree, or Minimum eight (8) years since award of Master's degree, or Minimum five (5) years since award of PhD degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in DOD sensor or weapon system software test with a minimum of 200,000 source lines of code
  • A Bachelor's degree from a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as a professional engineering curriculum in one of the following fields: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, or Software Engineering
  • OR A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand, and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to workstation. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and the public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
