Job Summary

Amergis is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Issaquah, WA. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapy services to students in a school-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Provide occupational therapy services to students with a range of abilities and needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in IEP conferences and other meetings as required
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice
  • One year of prior professional occupational therapy experience preferred
  • Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable
  • Current CPR certification if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site
  • Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
  • Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and other healthcare professionals
