Job Overview

UC Davis and VA are seeking a highly qualified Academic Endocrinologist to join their team. This is a full-time position that will be split 50/50 between UC Davis Health and the Sacramento VA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert clinical care in the fields of general endocrinology and diabetes, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and engaging in research and scholarly activities.

The salary range for this position is $177,036-$215,715 (Assistant), $201,378 - $238,517 (Associate), $227,916- $293,035 (Full). The VA salary range (to be negotiated directly with VA) for this position is: $100,000-$250,000.

Responsibilities

The incumbent will be expected to provide inpatient consultation and outpatient clinical care, teach medical students, residents, and fellows, and engage in research and scholarly activities. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in University/public service and attend scheduled meetings and CME activities.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a M.D., D.O. or equivalent degree, be a U.S. Citizen, and be board certified/eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Medical licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of California is also required. Strong clinical skills and commitment in obesity are also essential.
