Role Summary
The Production Packaging Specialist plays a crucial role in the preparation of raw materials for production and assists in packaging finished products for inventory. This individual must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks, respond swiftly to unexpected production challenges, and maintain a professional and efficient attitude at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Transfer raw materials from packaging to designated areas while adhering to USDA regulations.
- Prepare, label, seal, and palletize cartons of finished products.
- Utilize the TI station for accurate product labeling and to perform necessary inventory transactions and adjustments.
Educational Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience in a food processing environment.
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience in meat processing.
- USDA training.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
