Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Landscaper to join our team at JRS Land Services Inc. As a Landscaping Crew Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining our grounds by performing a variety of tasks, including mowing, planting, mulch installation, raking, hardscapes, sod laying, landscape projects, snow plowing, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow plow, chain-saws, gas clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws.
  • Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chainsaws.
  • Gather and remove litter.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
Requirements
  • Past experience as a landscaper/groundskeeper.
  • Experience with the use of hand-held and power tools.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 40+ pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of time.
  • Willingness to work in all weather elements.
  • Ability to lead a crew of 2 or more.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to take detailed notes.
