About the Role

As a Pediatric Emergency Department Nurse, you will work closely with the emergency medical services (EMS) team to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.

  • Provide age-appropriate care to patients based on their physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Perform delegated duties consistent with your scope of practice and function within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado or a current RN compact license from another state for the first 180 days of employment.
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required; ENPC and NRP certification preferred.
  • 1-2 years of acute care/specialty nursing experience desired.
