About the RoleAs a Pediatric Emergency Department Nurse, you will work closely with the emergency medical services (EMS) team to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Provide age-appropriate care to patients based on their physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform delegated duties consistent with your scope of practice and function within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado or a current RN compact license from another state for the first 180 days of employment.
- BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required; ENPC and NRP certification preferred.
- 1-2 years of acute care/specialty nursing experience desired.
