We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analytics and Model Consultant Senior to join our Balance Sheet Analytics & Modeling organization in Tysons Corner, VA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting complex quantitative analyses and developing models to support decision-making. Your expertise in credit risk modeling, data analytics, and financial analysis will be essential in driving business growth and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Probability of Default (PD) models for Residential Loans, including CECL and CCAR uses.
- Conduct quantitative analyses and model development to support decision-making, including data gathering and reporting.
- Collaborate with model owners and developers to refine and monitor existing models.
- Evaluate identified model risks and reach conclusions on strengths and limitations of the model.
- Prepare and analyze detailed documents for validation and regulatory compliance.
- Eight years of experience in credit risk modeling, with a strong working knowledge of Python.
- Knowledge of CECL and CCAR is a plus, as well as experience with big data/PySpark/Hadoop/Machine Learning.
- Solid technical writing skills and excellent communication skills are essential.
- Team player, self-starter, and good communication skills are required.
