Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in receiving dock operations by loading or unloading shipments in a safe and timely manner.
  • Place and/or pull stock from storage areas of the warehouse, maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring that all products are properly stored and secured.
  • Pick cases from bulk locations to fill forward pick locations, utilizing our warehouse management system to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Sort pallets by size and weight, ensuring that all products are properly stacked and secured to prevent damage or loss.
  • Ensure that the wheels of all trucks being unloaded have their wheels chocked before unloading begins, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn our warehouse management system.
