About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dermatologist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services to all New Yorkers.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat various skin conditions, including skin cancers and other dermatological disorders.
  • Perform surgical procedures, such as biopsies and excisions, as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dermatology and participate in ongoing education and training.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited medical school.
  • Unrestricted NYS medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Graduate from a Dermatology residency.
  • Board certified in Dermatology.
  • Previous experience teaching residents preferred.
  • Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population.
