This Cloud Architecture leadership role is designed for an engineering expert who can drive the design, build, and maintenance of data processing architectures and solutions at enterprise scale.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of how organizational capabilities interrelate across various functions or segments.

They will be responsible for ingesting data from internal and external sources using cloud-native platforms and software development best practices and patterns.

The Associate Director, Cloud Architecture, will develop software tools that leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big-data techniques to cleanse, organize, and transform data into insights and actions that enable Humana to better serve its members.

Key responsibilities include team leadership, collaborative influence, data platform architecture, enablement, delivery, support, innovation, automation, budget management, and vendor relationship management.

To succeed in this role, candidates should have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, 6+ years of technical experience, 2+ years of IT personnel management experience, and 3+ years of in-depth experience with cloud-based data warehouse and data lake technologies.

They should also possess broad technology experience across several areas, including cloud architecture, applications development, relational databases, NoSQL databases, analytics, security, storage, DevOps, containers, CI/CD, cloud migrations, and IT transformation.

Candidates should be comfortable speaking with executives, IT management, and technical SMEs and be flexible in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting roles and responsibilities.

This role requires technically creative and open-minded individuals who are passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
